Wow, I suppose it's about time I updated this lil' vox :) I am working full time and taking evening classes so I have been crazy busy. I have learned that while I do like polar bears and fish and trees, I do not like environmental law (this is a severe understatement)
I come bearing my favorite grilling recipe! It is not my own. I stole it from an issue of In Style magazine. It is John Stamos's Greek marinade.*** It is amazing and I have never had chicken come out bad using this marinade.
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup white wine
- 3 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 3 cloves garlic (feel free to up this :))
- 1 tbsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 3 lb chicken breasts
Mix the ingredients, pour it over the chicken in a sealed container, marinade for a couple of hours and you are ready to grill. You can substitute shrimp for chicken, but it gets difficult because the lemon juice. ENJOY and have a great fourth!! I will be avoiding the tourist influx.
